I helped with some yard work this morning and found a giant tarantula in the shrubs.

I decided to set it on fire.

I finally received a copy of Ubuntu Linux in the mail today. I’d downloaded the ISO for the live CD a while back but since my burner was screwing up, it never worked right. I’m using the Ubuntu Live CD right now.

Quite nice indeed.

Last day of school today.
Fall semester starts August 29th.

I’d been assigned a research paper several weeks ago for my class on Novell. It was due on Tuesday. I’d decided not to work on it because it was only a two-page paper. I figured a two-page paper wasn’t going to harm my average much. It turns out those two pages are 10% of my final grade. I want to keep my A. Students with an A in the class are exempt from taking the final exam.

I’m researching a product from Novell called Nsure Identity Manager. Very interesting indeed.
